It was a rainy and cold Wednesday that fellow members and guests met for a toastmaster meeting.
Javier Macías, tonight’s toasmaster, started the session with Pablo Picasso’s first exposition at Els 4 Gats 112 years ago…
Changes on the agenda… Teresa as Timekeeper, Luis as Ah-Counter and Ana as Grammarian – with the word of the day: Courage/Coraje.
- 1st Speaker: Ana Sanchon, El valor de las cosas, CC-3-6:47- very intersting speech about how industries make things last shorter to stimulate buying a new one.
- 2nd Speaker: Jesús Salillas, El espíritu que canta, CC-7-7:16- a charming trip with a whale
- 3rd Speaker: Djanira Cortesao, Evaluate to motivate,10:39- educational speech very useful for the evaluations the come next!
Marion Chevalier introduced the evaluators, Carmen Pazos -2:28 – for the first and Joan Fabregat -3:49- for the second speech.
Riccardo Agostini presented the table topics – CARNAVAL!
- Marisol -2:20- was Sherlock Holmes looking for the suspect who forgot a cardigan at the last party…
- María (guest)-2:06- presented the secret behind Obama’s campaign
- Denis (guest)-2:18- encouraged all of us to participate in the next Toastmaster contest!
