The toastmasters session was dedicated to the parties commonly held for a person before this person enters marriage. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Olga, the toastmasters of the session introduced us to the fun of bachelor parties, mentioned the funny things we do in these parties, such as dressing ourselves with outfits of varied assortments, and talked about how these parties have become a ritual in our society.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
First speech: \u00abRice is Gooood\u00bb, Marc Maurey.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This speech was Marc\u2019s ice breaker. He presented an amazing case of personal self-improvement! During the first part of his life he didn\u2019t like social situations and he used to avoid people. Then, at a certain point in his life he started travelling. He got out of his comfort zone to live new experiences. After travelling for a while he went to China, a country that marked the second part of his life. In China he connected with people and felt really alive. He worked in many jobs in China, he worked as a guide, as a model and he acted in a TV series in China as an American soldier and he had a lot of fun. His favorite activity was to teach kids to play football, causing much happiness to the children.<\/div>\n

Second speech: \u00abThank God it\u2019s Wednesday\u00bb, Camilla Brenchley.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This was Camilla\u2019s third speech from the competent communication manual. In this speech Camilla showed to us how important it is to have a job that we like. Nowadays many people do not like their work. Camilla gave us three compelling reasons why it is not worth to work in a place we don\u2019t like:<\/div>\n
\u00b7         <\/span><\/span><\/span>It\u2019s a waste of time: On average we spend 73000 hours of our lives at work! If we don\u2019t like our work, then our work is ruining our lives.<\/div>\n
\u00b7         <\/span><\/span><\/span>It makes us sick: to have a job we don\u2019t like causes us symptoms of stress and heart trauma, just like smoking one packet of cigarettes a day.<\/div>\n
\u00b7         <\/span><\/span><\/span>Lack of motivation: if we don\u2019t like our job we are not motivated to do our work. On the other hand if we like our job we are happy, we are more motivated and we are more productive, which is advantageous for us.<\/div>\n
Finally Camilla invited us to think how life would be if we liked our job so much that we could say things like \u201cThank got its\u2019 Monday! \u201c (or Wednesday).<\/div>\n

Table topics:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Nacho conducted the table topics section in a spectacular way, with lots of humour and fun, and big participation of the audience. Nacho presented a series of pictures and the table topics speakers had to invent a story that matched the pictures simultaneously as the pictures appeared on the projector. This resulted in very funny and varied stories !<\/div>\n
